Sam was put into a loving foster home when she turned 6
years old, however she is unable to escape her ghosts that haunt her sleep.
When she moves to Rainbow Springs and starts college, Sam hopes that the past
will stay where it belongs, but we all know we can never outrun our monsters
until we face them head on. Forced to leave her dorm because her roommate gets
sick of being woken up by her screaming, Sam moves to a shared co-ed house
where she has a small room, downstairs, off the kitchen away from everyone
else. It is here that she meets the handsome, yet distant Nathan and his
friends Ben, Carrie and Mandy.
When the source of Sam's pain is released from prison and
manages to find and kidnap her, it takes deep strength, good friends, a patient
therapist, caring parents and a deep love that is built on shared
understanding to help them overcome it all.
I love Sam’s character because despite it all, she remains
focused on getting better, making good friends and living her life to the full.
